I found Mobile Unlocked via GiffGaff's unlocking Wiki and I have to say I was pretty impressed with the service, and the fact you got £3 off any order with Mobile Unlocked if you clicked through from the GiffGaff site. Be prepared to wait I ordered my unlock for my iPhone 6 (locked to Vodafone UK) on 28th September. I was told to expect my unlock delivery by Tuesday 13th October (7pm) I recieved my unlock confirmation on Monday 12th October (one day before the estimated time of delivery) I was notifed by a simple e-mail which had all the instructions I needed to unlock the phone using iTunes. This literally took me a few minutes to complete - a boom, I'm a GiffGaff member, with an unlocked iPhone 6 All in all great service - but it is a wee bit of a waiting game. Thanks Mobile Unlocked and GiffGaff for a good service.
Was initially sceptical because I'd never used such a service before but the online chat representative was very helpful, answering my questions quickly and confirming the price I'd have to pay. I also liked reassurance of money back guarantee (providing I met certain criteria, which I did) and greater buyer protection of the option to pay by PayPal. As it turned out though I needn't have worried. The code was sent to my email address within 10 minutes (although it did go to my junk folder so always worth checking) and the cost seemed reasonable given that the alternative was to wait up to 7 days for my old provider to unlock it for free and my sim had already been transferred so I would otherwise have been without a phone. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation
Had my galaxy s6 unlocked within 24hrs.
got phone home stuck in sim and it was not unlocked ! £15 wasted went to Mobile Unlocked web site sorted phone in less than 30 mins tok Cex 45mins to fail phone is now working on giffgaff Now i am happy it was a simple process on "Mobile Unlocked" should have done that instead of trusting the geek in CEX..
Very good, fast unlock, works 100% thank you
Apple Inc., is an American corporation based in Cupertino, California. As you are probably aware they design, develop and market consumer electronics, software, services and PCs. There most well-known products include: the iPod, Mac computers, iPad and of course the iPhone. The late Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in 1976, primarily to make and sell PCs. Initially known as the Apple Computer, Inc. it wasn’t until 2007 that the company was renamed Apple Inc. to incorporate its shift of focus toward consumer electronics as well as personal computers. Since its decline and subsequent restructuring in the 1990s Apple has gone from strength to strength. It is now the second biggest technology company (in terms of revenue) after the Korean electronics giant, Samsung. Apple is now considered as the world’s most valuable brand after surpassing Coca-Cola in 2013. To date Apple has almost 425 retail stores in 14 countries, alongside its online store. Its worldwide revenue amassed to an unparalleled $170 Billion dollars last year and is 6th on the Fortune 500 list of companies in 2014. The iPhone was a turning point in the company’s fortunes. Released in 2007 the phone has become an iconic symbol which is known the world over. As of 2014 Apple has sold 35.2 million versions of the smartphone and the iPhone 6 has just been released. Although they only have a handful of mobile phone models, the iPhone is one of the world's most popular handsets, and puts Apple amongst the world's best-selling phone brands. They also innovated the App Store, which has been adapted for use on various different phone operating systems. Apple also have the only phone models to use the much coveted iOS software. Unlocking an iPhone is very different to unlocking any other type of handset. IPhones can only be permanently unlocked through iTunes. This is done by updating the Apple iTunes servers with the information that the phone you have is ready to be unlocked and should remain unlocked. This is completed through connecting your phone to iTunes - no unlock codes are needed at all. Once we've received confirmation that your phone is ready to unlocked, we will then send you an email reading "DONE". This is when you can follow the instructions that are in the same email and use iTunes to complete the process.
