Unlock iPhone 5 from AT&T - No unlock codes needed
25 Sep 2012
Well it appears that in a race that I just invented, AT&T have taken the gold as the first network we can offer iPhone 5 unlocking for! Only a few days after the 4 inched iPhone was released, the permanent unlocks are already available through us using iTunes.
If you wanted to order yours, please use our iPhone 5 page to do so.
The service on average takes between 3 and 12 hours to complete. This is one of the fastest iPhone unlocks that we offer on the site, for any iPhone. During this time, we send the unlock request off to Apple, who then update their iTunes servers that your handset can now be unlocked, and also remain unlocked through iOS updates. As soon as we hear back from them, we then email you that it is now ready and the instructions to complete the unlock.
You may have noticed there that unlock codes aren’t necessary for this. Most phones are unlocked using an unlock code, but iPhones are slightly different. Because they have the mite of iTunes behind them, this is the only thing you’ll need to complete the unlocking. The only other thing you’ll need is a SIM card from a network that isn’t AT&T - likely to be the SIM card you actually want to use instead.
If you have any questions about the unlock or just want to let us know how awesome this service is, you can contact us to do so. We prefer the latter but more than welcome the former!
