giffgaff Launch Unlocking Campaign

giffgaff has teamed up with creative agency Albion London to promote its campaign aimed at mobile phone providers to make mobile phone unlocking and short mobile phone contracts commonplace. The campaign has been launched by a YouTube video starring Keith Harris and Orville the Duck, which features a song promoting phone unlocking (and giffgaff of course!)
Be warned, it's not like anything you've seen before!
giffgaff have really taken the reigns for campaigning for change in the mobile marketplace, where long mobile phone contracts have been compared to battery farmed chickens. With Orville being a duck, we can certainly see why they chose the duo. giffgaff have also pledged that for every SIM card of theirs that gets activated, they will re-home a battery hen chicken, something they are doing in partnership with Wood Green Animal Shelter.
They believe that all mobile phones should be free and so do we! you go giffgaff!
